Alcohol like beer, wine and any spirits contain intoxicating components. In other words, known as nepenthe or depressant which slows down the system of the body when it surpasses the brain. People enjoy alcohol to celebrate, to relax and to socialize. For temporary enjoyment, people seek alcohol knowing the fact it also causes some bad impacts.

When people get drunk it becomes difficult to understand their language due to their slurred speech.
This happens because alcohol passes all over the body including the brain too which causes dysfunction of the brain and leads to improper speech.

Cardiovascular Disease-
Here cardiovascular disease can be any cardiac or heart disease like atherosclerosis where the flow of blood becomes harder through the arteries.
Another cardiovascular disease can be heart stroke or attack where a heart gets blocked by a blood lump and builds a restriction in blood flow to a portion of the heart.
It also causes sudden death sometimes.
Liver disease-
A liver disease which is caused by too much intake of alcohol would be cirrhosis and fatty liver disease.
Alcohol destroys the important body part including the liver too which can also cause issues in breathing and another respiratory system.
Other liver diseases could be jaundice, loss of appetite, swelling of the liver or abdominal.
Cancer-
Cancer can be one of the deadly problems which are too hazardous and it hardly gets cured.
There can be chances of cancer if people drink on a regular basis. Cancer can occur in any part of the body but due to excessive alcohol, it affects mostly the throat and mouth, liver, heart, esophagus, colon and rectum etc and causes cancer.
Cancer gradually kills the people who suffer through.
Nerve damage-
Too much alcohol damages the nerve tissue or peripheral nerves which causes tingling and pain on limbs which is also called alcoholic nephropathy.
Alcohol also alters the status of nutrients like thiamine, vitamin, niacin, folate, vitamin B6 and B12 which cause alcoholic nephropathy.
Peripheral nerves supervise our motor function and important sensory systems like walking, bowel and urinary elimination, speech and sexual arousal. Affecting peripheral nerves can affect all the important sensory systems.
In addition, long- term effects are riskier than short- term effects. Short-term effects don’t last for a day to a few more days but long- term lasts for a long period of time. It also causes stress or depression when people realise their suffering or disease.
